  • WHAT IS A CREDIT SCORE?
    A credit score is a number between 300-850 that depicts a consumer's creditworthiness. The higher the score, the better a borrower looks to potential lenders. A credit score is based on credit history: number of open accounts, total levels of debt, and repayment history, and other factors. Lenders use credit scores to evaluate the probability that an individual will repay loans in a timely manner.
  • WHAT IS A CREDIT REPAIR COMPANY?
    A credit repair company is an organization that helps you understand and repair your credit by analyzing your credit report and disputing inaccuracies with credit bureaus and creditors. Credit repair companies have the experience and knowledge to tackle credit issues that could be difficult to resolve on your own
  • WHAT IS A GOOD CREDIT SCORE?
    For a score with a range between 300-850, a credit score of 700 or above is generally considered good. A score of 800 or above on the same range is considered to be excellent. Most credit scores fall between 600 and 750
  • WHAT IS A BAD CREDIT SCORE?
    A bad credit score is one below 670. More specifically, a score between 580 and 669 is considered fair, and one between 300 and 579 is poor.
  • HOW SOON WILL I HEAR BACK FROM THE CREDIT BUREAU?
    Credit bureaus have to investigate the items you question within 30-35 days. (Please be advised that due to covid-19 responses times have been extended).

  • CAN ITEMS REAPPEAR ON MY REPORT?
    Yes they can. Negative accounts that have been deleted may later reappear if verified by a creditor. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act the credit bureau must inform you before they re-report a previously deleted listing. The Fair Credit Reporting Act does make it hard to re-report listings, because of this it is very rare for this to occur. If this situation does ever occur we will help you challenge the listing within legal means.
  • IS CREDIT REPAIR LEGAL?

  • CAN YOU REMOVE ANYTHING FROM MY CREDIT?
    We can only fight to remove any items that fall under the guidelines of the FCRA (www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/031224fcrs.pdf). These are items that should be removed due to being inaccurate, unfounded, out of date, false and/or erroneous.
  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO REPAIR MY CREDIT?
    While we try to remove inaccurate, unfounded, out of date, false, and erroneous information as quickly as possible, it is impossible to give an exact timeline as each case is different. The more items we are fighting to remove, the longer it might take. A general timeline is between 6-9 months, though sometimes it may take a bit longer or even shorter time-frame.
  • HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO REMAIN IN THE PROGRAM?
    The amazing thing about our program and services, there are absolutely no time-length requirements for our credit repair program. You can wither allow the program to graduate you, or when you feel that we have done everything that was necessary to help you, you can cancel at anytime. The only requirement that we have is that you notify us at least 30 days prior to your next billing cycle so that we can stop future billing, and not prepare your next round of disputes. Keep in mind that we bill in the arrears, so there will be one last payment that processes before cancellation to cover the work done from the month prior.
  • WHILE GETTING MY CREDIT REPAIRED CAN I GO OUT AND APPLY FOR LOANS?
    We advise against applying for any lines of credit while in the program. We provide necessary tools and resources for you to help rebuild, and will make recommendations to help you build a stronger profile, so if it is NOT absolutely necessary, or you aren't in dire need, please refrain from applying for any credit. If it's an emergency (car broke down, need to move/relocate) please contact us first.
  • WHY AM I NOT ABLE TO USE CREDIT KARMA?
    Great question!11 Unfortuantely most of the free credit providers aren't going to give you a FULL view of EVERYTHING that is on your credit profile. Now keep in mind, not only do we work to make sure that all accounts are reporting accurately, but we also make sure that your personal information (name, DOB, addresses, employers) is reporting 100% accurately as well. So we need to be sure we have access to EVERYTHING that currently and previously been reported to your credit profile.
  • HOW MUCH DOES THE SERVICE COST?
    We charge an Enrollment fee of $199.99. This covers an in-depth credit analysis of your credit profile with each of the 3 major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, Transunion), document processing, and Client Onboarding. We will take a look at what is negatively and positively impacting you, and also determine where you have room for improvement. After 30 days, you will be billed at your monthly rate plan (depending on the plan you signed up for). The monthly rates is $99.99 per month.
  • WHY DO RESULTS VARY?
    Results vary based on the following: Your credit report, your cooperation with sending in updated correspondence, response times from the credit bureaus and/or creditors. S & L Financial Solutions will strive to put our best efforts forward but please be advised that there are numerous key factors in determining success with results. Which is why results vary on a case by case basis

  • WHEN WILL MY PAYMENTS BE DUE?
    You first payment will not be due until services are rendered. Monthly fees are due on the same day every month from the first day you are enrolled into the program. For example, if you enroll in our program on January 1, 2022 your next monthly payment is not due until February 1, 2022.
  • WHATS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
    Clients can cancel services at any time with at least a 30 days notice. This will give us ample time to prevent processing your next round of letters and stop future payments from drafting.
  • DO YOU OFFER A MONEY BACK GUARANTEE?
    Yes, of course! We stand on our results and the services we provide. But because we are unable to guarantee results all clients are entitled to a refund on all monthly payments if the following occurs: 1. We are unable to remove at least one negatives item within 120 days from the date you enrolled in our program. 2. You have had no new negative information reflect on your credit report after hiring our company. 3. You have maintained credit monitoring services throughout the duration of your credit repair process without any lapse. 4. You agree and have sent updated correspondence from the three credit bureaus & creditors to us within 5 days of receipt. 5. You have no new missed payments added on your credit report since hiring our company. 6. Your payments are current on your account with us and you have not missed any payments or been late. The enrollment fee is NON-REFUNDABLE! Fees will also be deducted to cover supply cost, such as stamps, envelopes, toner, etc.
  • WHAT IS A CREDIT AUDIT/ANALYSIS?
    Your audit is a comprehensive analysis of your credit profile, broken down into easy to understand, actionable segments. After reading your audit, you will understand all aspects of your credit profile, and you will also know how we are going to work together to increase your credit score. Your audit will include a complete description of each item on your credit report, both positive and negative, along with action steps that you should take to improve your credit profile and credit scores.
  • WHAT IS CREDIT MONITORING?
    Credit monitoring is the process of periodically reviewing your credit reports for accuracy. Credit monitoring helps protect you against identity theft and monitoring any changes and/or inquiries made to your credit file. You will need it throughout the program click here: CREDIT MONITORING.
  • DO I HAVE TO KEEP THE CREDIT MONITORING AFTER SIGNING UP?
    Yes, a 3 in 1 credit monitoring service is mandatory while you are enrolled in the program. We need access to your credit report at all times to track the progress. Without an active monitoring service, we cannot assist you. And unfortunately, your account will be placed in an inactive status until you resolve this issue. You also risk the chance of being suspended from our program.
  • CAN YOU HELP ME BUILD MY CREDIT?
    Yes! Your audit includes personalized advice geared towards your credit situation. If we feel you need additional lines of credit or better lines of credit, we will include sources of credit lines that will benefit you.
